Terms and Community Rules

Who this is for

Photo Contest lets a host run a photo contest for an event, and lets guests join with a link to share photos and vote. These terms apply to both. By creating a host account or joining an event you agree to them. You must be at least 13 years old.

Community rules

Keep it friendly and keep it to photos from the event. Do not upload or share:

• anything illegal;
• nudity or sexual content, and in particular anything sexual involving a minor, which is never allowed and will be reported to the authorities;
• graphic violence;
• content that is hateful, harassing or threatening, or that targets someone to embarrass them;
• other people's private information, or photos of people you know would not want them shared;
• content you don't have the right to share;
• spam, malware, or files that aren't photos.

Do not try to disrupt the service, guess other people's PINs or passwords, or create extra entries to win votes.

Reporting and removal

Any guest can report a photo with the Report button while viewing photos. Hosts review reports and can remove a photo, remove a guest, and block a name. A photo reported by several different guests is hidden automatically until the host has looked at it. We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules. To report a problem we can help with, or to tell us about content that needs urgent attention, contact javaengineering1@gmail.com.

If you are a host

You are responsible for your event: who you share the link with, what happens in it, and reviewing reports. If you offer a prize, the prize and the contest are yours, not ours. Photo Contest is not a party to any prize, and you are responsible for fulfilling it and for following the laws that apply to a contest where you live and where your guests are.

Your photos

You keep ownership of the photos you upload. By uploading, you let the host and the other guests of that event view them, and let the host download them, as described in the Privacy Policy. Photos stay until the host deletes the event or their account. Only upload photos you are allowed to share.

No guarantees

We work to keep Photo Contest running and your photos safe, but the service is provided as it is, without promises that it will always be available or error-free. Download a backup of anything you can't afford to lose.
